Great. I've been summoned for jury duty

I've heard of hostile witnesses but I wonder if they have even seen a more hostile juror than I will be. I am so not over what the judicial system did to my brother after the wreck and the thought of walking into a court building makes me furious and sick to my stomach. I don't care that it's not the same court that screwed him, it's the same system that turned his life upside down and punished him so wrongly.

Did I tell you that because he was made to plead guilty the tribal housing authority is throwing him and mom out of their house? The house that he and Chris lived in for 2 years? The house that they have religiously made payments on to purchase for 5 years. They have until the end of August to move. So far he's lost Chris, the job of a lifetime and now his house and last remaining connection to the good life he had with Chris. All because his car slid on the ice at a low rate of speed while driving home from work.

On the one hand I suppose I could go in and take a do-gooder attitude and try to help whomever is on trial from being screwed over by the justice system. On the other hand I could go in with the biggest chip on my shoulder and the huffiest attitude these people have ever witnessed. I have a feeling I will go with the huffy. I don't think they'll want me after I tell them that no matter what the person is accused of I am going with not guilty because I've seen the failure of the system and don't trust the justice system to know right from wrong. Has anyone ever gone to jail for telling the system to fuck off?
