There is basically no difference in the performance of the 5 and 88 this year. Saying otherwise means you are a complete idiot.
They just interviewed and Mark Martin said the tires changing this year is the biggest reason. He said the setups from last year do not work and they don't give him the feel he needs. Martin said the whole company is testing and working hard lately to remedy this issue, but they've fallen behind.
