Here's the funny thing. The Fox news mini-sermons were absolutely taken out of context. The god damn america stuff in particular. The aids nonsense is just that... a rant made by a man tired of seeing his race stepped upon. A dash of poisonous invective seems to hammer home the point of his sermon on a regular basis.
So far as the thought that Wrights preachings reflect on Obama's character... I just don't fall for it. The candidate Obama, spoke clearly & convincingly about race - and his statements told me plenty. It was a calm & collected response to a crazy attack. Obama pretty much proved that day that he can make a rational decision under duress.
Even if I didn't feel this way, I would have to say that McCain's moral compass is broken. H'es turned about 165 degrees from the old John McCain... and the old one was better.
The fact that Hillary stayed in a marriage so she could run for president as a carpet bagging NY senator tells me all I need to know about her character...
In the end, regardless - so far as Rev Wright goes - I just don't have a problem with anything I've heard from the Rev. I laugh at Howard Stern too, rather than curl up in a ball and miss the point entirely....
